..regretfully we did not make it..Ronnie passed away on December 20..it was such a shock..
..In the year 2005 on April 24 my husband and I will be married 40 years. That does not seem possible. Our daughter recently asked what did we want to do? I told her I would like a party.
A while back I found these wedding picture albums and guestbook. So I bought an album for smaller pictures and for 8 x 10s too. I still have a few of the original pictures. At moms last year I found a bunch of the little pictures. So in all I have over 20 pictures. Someone else has told me they have pictures their mother took..
..all at once I realize I have never put the pictures from Shawn and Kim's wedding in an album..so..I put all of them in with Ronnie's and mine..then I say there are Frank and Sara's..the wedding Kristina was in last summer..and..I will look for other wedding during the 40 years we were married..and..our nephew was just married..
..though Frank and Sara were married in 2002..I never had the pictures done..so I recently found them..I guess I got them done in 2004 and forgot about them..there are 2 good pictures of Ron and I..I never felt I took a good picture..everyone else says it is a good picture..
I had already bought Ronnie a ring with a ruby..the stone for 40 years.
..the things we never got to do..
..it seems there were always things we planned to do but never got done..like go to the beach in summer..last year we never even went the first time..of course some of that may have to do with the fact they started charging to use the beach..then Ronnie always liked to buy the summer plasticware..he had already bought some and without telling him I had gone and bought more..one week I was going to have everything ready and tell him OK..we are going on a picnic..where do you want to go..they had just opened a park a few miles down the road..then we were going to go to some of the local attractions we went to years ago..
..for Thanksgiving 2004 we had gone to Charlotte..it was so beautiful..then the week before he passed away we had gone to the VA Hospital in Fayetteville..it seemed everyone had left their Christmas lights on..it was so nice..then we went through this little town..it seemed everyone had decorated..the VA Hospital had a beautiful tree up..
..Ronnie had always wanted to go back to Brookgreen Gardens..it is so pretty there..I always wanted to go to some of the theaters in Myrtle Beach..we were supposed to go but something always happened..I wanted to see Eddie Miles as Elvis..granddaughter Kara has seen him 3 times already and she is only 12..
