..Wed 6am..I am home alone..my son wanted me to come there but I stayed home..I think determined to show everyone I can take care of myself..I depended on my hubby so much..he took care of me..the power went out already and my computer had been knocked out the two days before ..I do have a power surge.. I just decided to get on here a minute..run the air and cool it down in here as much as I can..make some tea fast and do the dishes..though I already did them by falshlight..they said the hospital is running on generators already..it keeps flickering..better go..so..Pray for Us..thanks..my son came and got me..I was fine..the trip over there was more scary than anything..but we had no power..

I have made up an emergency list and kit. *****I do have a radio and small flash light that use the same batteries*****...I put them up in a plastic zip bag..with my list of items..I remembered sugar..forgot the creamer..my hubby has to have his coffee**we now have a generator...Baby wipes are great to clean with and are great when you have had no bath for a few days..
