Make Rice Krispies Treats....Krispies..
Valentine M and M candies are a good idea. Have Strawberry milk for breakfast. If you can not find the strawberry milk just buy some frozen strawberries and use them. Buy some drinks in red. Buy red drink cups too. After holidays I buy 1/2 price candy and send it to a dialysis center by us.
Robin's World Famous Cream Cheese Sandwiches
8oz Cream cheese softened
3 tsp mayonnaise
1/2 package Good Seasons Italian Dressing
Dash of hot sauce
Food coloring of your choice, match your holidays...
Mix all ingredients well. Spread on bread with crust removed. Cut in half. We used cookie cutters for these. None were ever left!
Make a cherry cheescake. You may find a heart shaped pan. I use the boxed cakes, they are pretty good. One year I took some dolls and made red outfits for them for my daughter and her friend...

Take heavy construction paper, I do like the better brands, the colors are much better. I cut two heart shapes, the front one I made some slits in like a snowflake, not too many. Glue or staple together. I use Aleen's Tacky glue in the gold bottle. Just a little holds really good. To this I added tissue paper in the middle with a lolly pop, some candy.
Make a chain in Valentine colors..
One year my granddaughter's mom made a heart shape with construction paper, outlined my granddaughter's hand on it, then stapled them together with some stuffing in the middle. My daughter picked up the cutest Valentine and Bunny baskets at a dollar store for her preschool class, but get them early.

For school one year I made a Valentine box. I took a cardboard grocery box with a lid. Cover with tissue paper..leaving a space in the back on the bottom to open so you can get the Valentines out. I put Valentines all over this. You could add stickers, ribbon too. The teacher put it up for the next year. Select a post master and post mistress to take the Valentines out and pass them around. You could have a lucky number for that.

I have bought cards, one year my granddaughter and I made cards out of construction paper..this year I bought one of the packages of smaller cards and a larger card to mail them in..my daughter is now director of a pre-school and this year they are going to send some to the hospitals and Adam too..!!..
